Earlier this year Enjin launched the Enjin Platform, a powerful blockchain development platform and API that enabled developers to mint NFTs and integrate them into their games and apps. Today, Enjin has announced that they are removing the subscription cost to use the Enjin Platform–making it free.
Enjin has also reaffirmed their commitment to building a community-driven development ecosystem by applying the open source Apache license model to the EnjinCraft plugin, Java SDK, and Godot SDK. This means developers are now allowed to freely use, modify, and distribute, and resell Enjin’s suite of plugins and SDK to other developers who are looking for easy-to-adopt blockchain development tools.
The Enjin team has also teased their upcoming blockchain app marketplace. Developers will be able to build their own plugins and SDKs, and sell them through Enjin’s marketplace. This will allow them to earn money by making the lives of their fellow developers easier.
The Enjin Platform has been used by 1,570 of projects to mint over 3.6 billion tokens. Companies like Microsoft and Binance have also used it to mint and distribute reward tokens. It is widely considered to be the most advanced blockchain development ecosystem in the world.
